Week 3

I'm back again and this past week has been quite gruesome. I mean, the weather has been quite harsh and discouraging and if i wasn't as motivated as i am now, i woulda slacked and postponed on numerous days. I'm still at it with my workout plan and diet. Trust me, as a Nigerian man who LOVES and ADORES food, this has been torture.
But i found a trick. I don't avoid food as such. Rather, i eat in small amounts. Found out i could still eat good with smaller servings. When we go past the required amount of servings, thats just being greedy. Trust me, if i'm given a chance, i can eat a medium pot of jollof rice EASY...smh! My advice is that you reduce what you would rregularly eat on a regular day, by half. So instead of a full plate, why not go for half? You don't have to eat to the point where your stomach gets all round and stretched. keep in mind that the stomach has muscles and when they get over used, they stretch and/orget lazy.

One thing i would love to share which i found out recently is the "standing workout". I put this up on my twitter over the week and people asked me to explain this on my blog. So here it goes: Basically you stand and put your hands behind ur head like you would in a sit up. Then you bend forward and bend all the way back. Idk if someo of you have seen the "bender ball" commercial but the workout entails bending forward and backward. not just flat on ur back but its also inclined downwards. This helps your stomach walls stretch and squeeze. This gives u better results. i love doing this topless as i love to see my abs twitch. And i'm telling you, after seeing my abs show, i've been the happiest man alive. Eventhough its just 3 on one side, its something. I'll run with that lol....so come spring break next year and its still on one side, i'm going topless lol..better than a gut....AaaaaaaaaaOoooooooWwwwwwww!!!!!

Oh btw, i've been losing weight and turning my fat into muscles....lets just end this post this way....your boy is getting SEXIER!!!!

After ONE week

Trust me, this workout plan hasn't been easy for a split second, but with determination, i conquer each day successfully, but strenuously.  Its good when you work out and see result. I think my body is so good to me....as quick as i gain weight, thats how quick i burn off the fat but i'ma get to that in a few.


I remember the first day i put up the result of my treadmill workout. I ran 3 miles in 56 minutes and there i was feeling good with myself only to get seriously criticized by people. I was called all sort of names... "snail", "slow"....one girl even hit me on bbm that her granny does better than me.  Then Yogy (Chase White on facebook) comes outta now where an calls me "fatty bumbum". What people don't know is that these names actually motivate me to strive harder towards my goal. Now i can proudly say i can run 3 miles in 45 minutes. it might be slow to some of you guys BUT hey, i shaved off 11 minutes....thats 660 seconds faster....lol


Anyways, here's a lil tip to some of you starting. You MAY NOT see the results right away and what you need to remeber is this..."Rome wasn't built in ONE day". Tat being said, keep your eyes on the prize. Whatever your workout plan might entail, don't stop even when things come in your way. The other day, the rain tried to stop me but i still went and felt good right after.

My boy Uche told me something cool...he said "get a good playlist to boost you as you go". Trust me, i've downloaded songs that gets me souped and pumped ready to go.

Just to name a few...

Now i understand some of you ladies might not be feeling these songs but i STRONGLY recommend R. kelly's "world's greatest". That song from the Muhammed Ali movie. I then feel like i'm the "world's sexiest man alive" lol in my lil mind.

Some of you might get discouraged with having to pay for a gym but tap into a few "free" resources. What about your school gym? What about in the comfort of your home? What about working out with a friend who has a gym membership and adding a second member might be close to free???? I don't wanna hear that you can't partake in this workout plan. Don't you wanna get sexy come summer '11? I know i'm going topless come summer time LOL...AaaaaaaaaaaaaaOooooooooooooooWwwwwwwwww!!!

Ok here's my result. I have started and almost lost my love handles believe it or not. Even my GUT is disappearing too. Trust me, i'm getting sexy by the day.

Whats so amazing is that i can beat my chest and say i have over 60 people partaking in this workout plan. Lets make it 61 adding my banker Tia....i had a long convo with her and cajoled her into tryna get a treadmill. I'm even helping her look for one within her budget. That made me feel soooooooo gooooood. I feel like i'm "touching lives" with this workout plan.

Here's a quick reminder....this diet is a LOW or if possible no carb diet. Avoid bread and if you must, go for WHOLE WHEAT. Not just Wheat bread....all that flour and extra stuff goes down to your gut faster than anything. Please eat more fruits....if you wanna be fancy, try blending a whole buncha fruits with ice cubes and you got yourself a smoothie! I just saved you a trip to McDonalds for that Strawberry banana smoothie when you can make yours right in your home.

Avoid fried food. Try grilling your food instead. its healthier and tastes almost the same. Avoid eating too much eggs as this builds up cholesterol and clogs up your blood vessels. Remember, even if you don't see results now, having good blood flow in your old age is what matters and then you can thank me. This is NOT just about looking sexy but HEALTHY too.

i won't put up any before pics yet but once i reach my goal, you can best believe that i will be putting up pics. Dont give up. As i'm typing this up, i'm very sore from the workout but hey, no pain, no gain is the motto. First Day December 1st, 2010

Wow I so anticipated this day. I couldn't wait for this day to come. Tossed a lot at night and when this day came, it felt like last night I won the lottery and today, I had to go cash the lottery ticket...lol! Then I had to run to the bank to get a new card today. Turns out someone not only stole my bank card, but swiped over $600 and put the account into negative. I was pissed and was almost tempted to ignore the workout plan.

So I went to the gym, and started off with the treadmill. I wasn't impressed with my result but I ran 3 miles in bout 52 minutes smh *bbm can't look smiley*. WELL, I felt good after running. Tomorrow, I plan on doing better. I'm gunning for 45 minutes. Hey...Rome wasn't built in one day so kick rocks if you're here to laugh at me...lol! As long as I lose the fat and get sexy, that's what matters innit?

Went to the abs machine, and did bout 200 sit ups. Not at one time lemme not lie hehehe...so I did like 10 sets of 20 which wasn't too bad yeah? Right after went to work on my chest, and did like 4 sets of 10...then benched about 150lbs (4 sets of 10)...this felt good tho but I feel sore now. The workout was banging tho tomorrow, I'm going at it, only that I'll go harder at it.

Basically, this workout plan Is dividers on me losing most of the ft and getting fit as a fiddle. Eventually I'll get sexy. Lol
